Samsung: Let Us Cancel! From Ashwin Ganesh

Samsung has strange policies only for India.

I recently bought products from Samsung India’s Estore. I had to cancel my order for some reason and discovered there was no such option!

I found out that they have a ‘no cancellation’ policyeven if there was an error while making an order. Unbelievably, this is only in India. They allow cancellations in other countries around the world.

I feel this is extremely discriminatory. Why should we Indians not have an option to cancel an order that is not shipped? Additionally, prominent online stores like Flipkart and Snapdeal have cancellation policies.

That’s why I started a petition asking Vineet Tanjea, Head of Samsung Mobiles India, to change this policyand allow cancellation till the products are shipped.

Companies are sensitive to the opinion of its customers. As users of Samsung’s products we have the power to tell Samsung to change this policy and make it more customer friendly.
